Assistant Marketing Manager

This role will be integral in understanding and supporting the needs of Cathay’s Retail Mall and Coworking brand; supporting the development of a strategy and vision, initiating briefs of new projects, interacting with the agencies, and to following through projects. Part of the role includes adhoc corporate communication with stakeholders and media.


Assistant Manager will need to be able to work independently and have the responsibility for the group’s both on and offline branding, promotions, communications and sales.

1. Marketing Communication & Corporate Communication
  • To develop and implement  brand and marketing activities of the company
  • To develop, manage and implement execution of all consumer communication vehicles including advertising creative, trade marketing materials, collaterals and premiums, promotions etc.
  • Coordinate with agency to develop artwork
  • Liaise with PR Agency for all PR related matters for the organization
2. Branding & Promotions
  • Develop new consumer promotion campaigns and to develop consumer engagement plans
  • Oversee and direct the execution of in-mall, Gather Cowork events and promotions
  • Source and network of potential business partners who have resources to boost brand exposure through a strategic collaboration or exclusive contract, pending product nature
3. Digital Media
  • Plan website updates for feature banners, small banners and promotion page
  • Manage social media marketing channels, content, campaigns and day-to-day activities
  • Curate relevant content to reach the audience most likely to engage, work with and/or advocate on behalf of our brand
  • Grow engagement, reach, referral traffic and conversions through proactive organic and paid campaigns and management
  • Provide monthly media report on activities
4. Sales
  • Liaise with Center Management & Gather team regularly to ensure client’s satisfaction on deliverables according to contract
  • Prepare contractual agreements and ensure the terms and conditions are in accordance with company policy
  • Proactive prospecting to generate meetings with potential clients
  • Provides regular updates on sales activities
  • Regular update event and media calendar
  • Create new business materials (presentations etc.)
  • Focus on business development analysis and evaluation
  • Follow with clients on collection of payments
