Yew Capital

Established in 2022, Yew Capital acts as an independent investment vehicle for the family office’s non-real estate related activities and partakes in investments directly and externally through fund managers in both the private and public space.

Yew Capital is named after the family’s founding patriarch, Loke Yew, the Malaysian pioneer and philanthropist. His “rags to riches” story was not achieved without hardship and suffering, but his indominable pioneering spirit, entrepreneurial accomplishments and philanthropy have been inspirations for his children and their children after them. Yew (佑) in Chinese means to assist; to help; to protect  and so the story of Yew Capital begins with him.
